What is NSP OTR Registration?
NSP OTR Registration means “One Time Registration” on the National Scholarship Portal. Without OTR, students cannot apply for scholarships. Once you complete the registration and generate your OTR number, you can use it every year to apply for different scholarship schemes.
Steps for NSP OTR Registration (2025-26)
Follow these simple steps to complete your NSP One Time Registration:
- Visit the official website – scholarships.gov.in.
- Click on Students → OTR Login → Register Yourself.
- Read the guidelines and click on I Agree → Next.
- Enter your active mobile number, get OTP, and verify.
- Complete eKYC using Aadhaar, Enrollment ID (EID), or Parent/Guardian Aadhaar.
- Verify details, enter parent’s name, email, and submit.
- You will receive a Reference Number.
- Download the NSP OTR App and Aadhaar Face RD App from Play Store.
- Open the NSP OTR app → Select eKYC with FaceAuth → Enter Reference Number.
- Complete Face Authentication.
- After successful verification, your OTR Number will be generated and sent to your registered mobile number.
- Use this OTR number to apply for scholarships on NSP.
