Eligibility Criteria for Purnea University Guest Faculty 2025
Educational Qualification
- A Master’s Degree in the concerned/relevant/allied subject with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/BC/PWD as per UGC norms).
- Candidates must have cleared NET/SLET/SET conducted by UGC/CSIR or hold a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations.
- Relaxations apply for reserved categories and Ph.D. holders as per UGC guidelines.
- For disciplines such as Music, Performing Arts, Fine Arts, eligibility will be determined as per UGC regulations for traditional/professional artists.

Selection Process
The selection will be based on Academic Record + Interview Performance:
- Academic Score: 100 Marks
- Interview: 15 Marks
Weightage will be given for Post-Graduation, M.Phil., Ph.D., NET/JRF, Research Publications, Teaching/Post-Doctoral Experience, and Awards as per UGC guidelines.
