CTET 2026 Application Fee

Candidates need to pay the application fee while submitting the CTET 2026 Application Form. Below is the category-wise fee structure:

CTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria differ for candidates applying for Paper I (Classes I–V) and Paper II (Classes VI–VIII).

For Classes I–V (Paper I):

  • Passed Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and completed or appearing in the 2-year D.El.Ed.
  • OR passed Senior Secondary with 50% marks and in the final year of 4-year B.El.Ed.
  • OR passed 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

For Classes VI–VIII (Paper II):

  • Graduate with 50% marks and completed or appearing in B.Ed.
  • OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks and in the final year of 4-year B.El.Ed. or B.A./B.Sc.Ed.

CTET 2026 Exam Pattern

The CTET exam is divided into two papers:

  • Paper I – for teaching Classes I–V
  • Paper II – for teaching Classes VI–VIII
